Globacom has launched new data bundles aimed directly at gamers, streamers, and heavy internet users across Nigeria. The plans fall under a new offer called “More Data More Value,” announced in a statement released on Monday.

Here is everything to know about the new bundles.

What The New Plan Offers

The “More Data More Value” offer comes with weekly and monthly plans that combine daytime and night time data allocations to support round the clock usage.

For premium users, the bigger plans give serious value. The N10,000 bundle offers 42GB in total, made up of 38GB main data and 4GB night data. The N15,000 plan goes even higher, giving 64GB in total, split into 62GB main data and 2GB night data.

Who This Is For, You may ask

Globacom said the bundle structure is designed to fit different categories of users, including students, remote workers, entrepreneurs, and entertainment consumers who depend heavily on mobile data for daily activities like streaming, social media, online meetings, and gaming.

The combination of daytime and night data means heavy users are not restricted to one period of the day. Gamers who play late at night and streamers who consume large amounts of data during the day both benefit from this structure.

Why Is Glo Doing This For their Users Now

It’s simply because demand for streaming, social media, remote work, and online business activities has continued to rise across Nigeria. Glo said the new packages are meant to give customers more value for every naira spent on data, while strengthening its position in Nigeria’s increasingly data driven telecom market.

The company also said the offer is expected to support small businesses and households that depend on mobile hotspots for connectivity, especially in areas where fixed broadband is limited.

How To Subscribe

Customers can subscribe and manage their data plans through the Glo Café app, which Globacom describes as a simplified interface for managing data purchases and tracking usage.

The Bigger Picture and what more to come

This move comes as Nigerian telcos face growing pressure to meet rising data demand while keeping prices reasonable for everyday users. Gaming and streaming have become major data consumers in the country, and telecom companies are increasingly designing bundles specifically around these use cases rather than offering one general data plan for everyone.

So, For gamers and streamers who have struggled with running out of data mid-session, the new Glo bundles offer a more tailored option built around how they actually use the internet.
